Yvonne Parramore, born in Newark, NJ on June 16, 1953, to the late Rheuben Parramore, Sr. and Mary F. Stokes-Parramore, at the age of 69, the Lord chose to take her home on May 16th, 2023.  God was gracious enough to allow her transition to happen at her home with her loving family.

Yvonne received her education in the State of New Jersey school system.  After graduating in 1973, from Malcolm Shabazz High School, she entered the workforce and attended Stewart Business Academy with a focus in Business Administration.  Yvonne worked for ADP in Clifton, NJ and for the  Essex County Correctional Department where she later retired from.

Yvonne was a long time member of Genesis Baptist Church of Greensboro, NC, under the leadership of the Honorable Pastor Dr. Gregory Hardin.  Yvonne was also the Vice President of The Melanin Foundation and a member of the Robyn Glenn Association.

In addition to her parents, Yvonne was preceded in death by her sisters, Tora L. Bell and Ruthie E. Parramore and her brother, Rheuben Parramore, Jr.

Yvonne leaves to mourn; her son, David Sean Parramore and devoted fiancee, Thomas H. King; grandsons, Quadree King, Kyron Parramore, and Kyreem Smith; granddaughter, Sumayyah Parramore; twin sister, Yvette Richardson; sister, Vora White &  brother-in-law Lewis White, sister Rosita G. Parramore; brother, Abron Parramore; special aunt, Shirley Hunter-Parramore; devoted sister-in-law, Gale Parramore and a loving host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.

A viewing will be held for our beloved Yvonne at Hargett Funeral Home Services, 905 East Market Street, Greensboro, NC, on Saturday, June 3, 2023 @ 11:00am.  Immediately following will be the memorial Service @ 11:30 am.  A repass will be held at the home of Thomas H. King, 515 Song Sparrow Lane, Greensboro, NC.

We will miss our loving Yvonne, but God loved her more.
