IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Wilma Ann
Mclean
January 3, 1938 – October 8, 2021
Wilma McLean was born January 3, 1938 in Guilford County North Carolina to the late John Roy Brown and Catherine Beauty Brown. She gained her heavenly wings on October 8, 2021 at her home surrounded by loved ones.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Charles Henry McLean on November 24, 1956. To this union six children were born.
Wilma was educated in the Guilford County School system. She gave her life to Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of White Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church until her decline in health. She served as an usher and sang in the senior choir. She was an excellent cook and worked the majority of her career in Food and Nutrition in the Guilford County School system.
In addition to her husband, Charles, Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, her only sister, Dorothy Milton; and her half-brother, Roy, Jr.
Left to cherish her precious memories and celebrate her life are her six children, Charita Williams, Charles (Julie) McLean, Wanda (Darryl) Fuller, Tony (Marcella) McLean, Tandria McLean, and Leslie Chavis (Howard Duff); seven grandchildren, Jamie, Jeremy, Tony, Tyson, Bryce, Christian, and Ebony; eight great-grandchildren, Daisha, Madison, McKenzie, Mercy, Tinley, Aiden, Mila, and Tylon; two great-great grandchildren, Isaiah and Marley; three sisters-in-law, Annette Neal, Glenice Troxler, and Louise McLean; two brothers-in-law, Kenneth McLean and Bobby Milton and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
We are comforted to know that she lived a beautiful life of Christian devotion, and we are grateful for the promise of eternal life.
A public viewing will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021 in Hargett Funeral Service, Inc., 905 E. Market Street, Greensboro from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
