Wallace Lee Summers (Bro Bus) was born on December 25, 1942 in Greensboro North Carolina to James Summers and Flossie Kelly. He was joined in marriage November 24, 1978 to Judy Lorraine Davis.
Wallace made his confessions to God and was baptized this year on the 26 th day of October. He retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company after 31 years of service. He was an avid golfer who played the game until his illness. He loved playing cards, dominoes, and checkers. He was a loyal Pittsburgh Steelers Fan who never missed an opportunity to watch them play. His second home was at Gillespie Golf Course where he was in a group coined as "The Tree Boys". He also was a member of the Sportsman Club and NAACP.
Those left to continue the celebration of Wallace's life is his wife of 41 years Judy D. Summers of Greensboro, NC; three children and their spouses: Charlene (Ernest) Foushee, Charles (Aleta) Eubanks and James Summers. Wallace's love will continue in the hearts and memories of his grandchildren: LeKessa (Brock) Pearce, Tiffany Eubanks, Lorraine Eubanks, Jaylen Summers, and Jaxon Summers; four great-grandchildren, Taja'un Scales, Serenity Eubanks, Dallas and Noah Pearce; sister, Betty S. Matier; sister in law, Shirley C. Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday November 06, 2019 at Lakeview Memorial Park 3600 N O'Henry Boulevard, Greensboro, NC 27405.
