Vera Coley Sprueil, 91, passed away Monday, May 17, 2021.

A public viewing will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.  A homegoing celebration will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 at the Goldie Hargett Memorial Chapel, 905 E. Market Street, Greensboro viewing begins at 11:30 am followed by the service at 12:00 pm.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Vera lived in Summerfield, NC for most of her life and was a faithful member of Fairgrove Missionary Baptist Church in Summerfield.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, John Thomas Sprueil (JT) and daughter, Joyce Sprueil Warren.  Left to cherish precious memories of her are her three daughters, Veronica Faye Sprueil, Linda Shoffner, Glenda Simmons (Calvin); one son, John Thomas Sprueil, II; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
