Engineer and entrepreneur, Thomas Raymond Woodson (79) loved his family, friends and community.  A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Thomas first came to Greensboro, North Carolina to attend NC A&T SU, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, and also participated in civil rights activities during his time at NC A&T SU. He is lovingly remembered by his son, daughters, grandchildren, brother, sisters, nieces, and nephews. He had a full life of many business pursuits and loved being a part of the NC A&T SU Alumni Band. A memorial service will be  Saturday, February 5, 2022 in the New Jerusalem Cathedral 1822 Sharpe Rd, Greensboro, NC 27406 at 1 pm.  Hargett Funeral Service is assisting the family.  Livestreaming of the service is available.
