Obituary

Mr. Thomas Oscar "Tommy" Smith was born to the late Jack and Carrie Smith on February 14, 1930. He departed his earthly life on Wednesday, January 6, 2016.

His favorite food was "hot dogs and soda" and he loved to watch the history channel and Matlock. He loved his family and friends with his famous words "What's up buck!" He worked as a Warehouseman and a Truck Driver for many years until his health began to fail him. As a result, he became disabled and remained at his home in Greensboro, North Carolina until January 2015 when he moved to Columbus, Georgia where he lived until his death.

He leaves to mourn a host of relatives and friends.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1362 Branson Mill Road, Pleasant Garden, NC.
