Stacy Lee Simpson gained his wings October 27th, 2023 at a sudden and sadden time at Wesley Long Hospital.

Stacy won over many with his charismatic personality. He was known to dance, live life and DJ. He had a heart that loved music. Stacy was born to the late Herman and Inez Simpson in Huntington, NY on July 1, 1962. On that day he became the first son to be born.

Stacy enjoyed educating and challenging himself, reason he excelled in mathematics. Even with his personal battles that he would overcome after 32 years, he was able to be a centerpiece in everyone who knew him. If he didn't teach you anything else, his tactical skills and passion for fishing would have left a stamp on your life.

In addition to his parents, Stacy was preceded in death by his son Stacy, Jr. in October 2017 and his only brother, Allan Simpson in 2014.

To cherish his memory his leaves behind his wife, Bonnie Simpson whom he has known since childhood; one son, Saquan;  daughter Shawnice; step-son, Steven; granddaughter, Quanasia; three sisters; and host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and many beloved friends.

A public viewing will Friday, December 15, 2023 in the Goldie Hargett Memorial Chapel, 905 E. Market Street, Greensboro from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm followed by a service at 3:30 pm.
