Ronnie Albert Johnson was born on December 16, 1948, in Cabarrus County to the late George Albert Johnson and Bertha Ree Johnson.  Ronnie was a graduate of G.W. Carver High School, Kannapolis, NC.  After serving in the United States Army, Ronnie furthered his education and received his BA Degree from Shaw University, Raleigh, NC.

Ronnie loved the Lord with all his heart, giving his life to Him at a very early age. His early Christian years were spent at the Harding Street Church of God, Kannapolis, NC.  He later connected with several churches in the High Point/Greensboro area.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings: Mary Ann, Janet, Loretta, Priscilla, Regina, James Ray, and Gregory.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories, a very special god-sister, Ms. Patricia Randleman of High Point, NC, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A public viewing will be held Monday, December 11 in the Goldie Hargett Memorial Chapel, 905 E. Market Street, Greensboro from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm.  A homegoing celebration will be held Tuesday, December 12 in the Goldie Hargett Memorial Chapel; visitation with the family begins at 10:30 am followed by the service at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow in Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC.
