Robert Dell Harris was the son of the late Isabella and Ira Harris. He was born May 12, 1942.  At 2:19 pm Friday, August 16, 2019, Robert went to join his mom, dad, and 9 siblings.

He was a Cone Mill truck driver for over 32 years.

Those left to cherish his memory know he loved to watch tv, especially golf. He also loved to play a few rounds at the card table.  Roberts leaves a legacy of love and would want everyone to carry that gift of love to others.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Margo; daughters, Glenda (Bud), Yvette (Norris), and Vickie (Reggie); eight grandchildren, Bobby, Brandon, Marcus, Shaquan, Gerrard, Angel, James, Jr., and Danielle; three sisters-in-laws, Doris, Rosa, and Loretta (Robert); three brothers-in-law, James (Mary), Halton, and Lance; sixteen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A homegoing celebration will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at the Goldie Hargett Memorial Chapel, 905 E. Market Street, Greensboro.  Visitation with the family begins at 12:00 pm followed by the service at 12:30 pm.
