Paulette Overby Crawford was born on January 24, 1956 to Rufus Caviness and Pauline E. Overby and departed this world to heavenly paradise on February 15, 2021, free from pain and suffering surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her home.

Paulette attended Greensboro Public Schools and was a member of Love and Faith Christian Fellowship. She retired from Shamrock Corp. after 20 plus years of faithful service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus Caviness and Pauline E. Overby; brothers, Avery Overby, Bernie Overby, and Phillip Overby.

Paulette leaves her devoted husband, Joe Crawford of 48 years to cherish the loving memories of their life; daughters, Lakiesha Overby Lewis (Norman) and Joanna Goins (Steve); sons, Cornell Joe Crawford (Jerrica) and Cornell Lamont Sinclair; sisters, Allison Overby and Wanda Tinnin; brother, Gary Caviness (Karen); nephews, Gerard Overby and Shannon Overby; paternal grandchildren, Nathaniel Joe Crawford, Lailah Simone Lewis, Johanna Skye Crawford, and Dilan Pierrara; goddaughters, Latonya Michelle Weeks and Kia Kapp (Stanford); grandchildren, Raven Weeks, Dileonne Florence, Mya Florence, Joshua Florence, Travis Lewis (Deardra), Mionte Lewis, Sharonda Lewis; and a host of family and friends.
