Obituary
GREENSBORO - Mr. Paul Melvin Silver, Sr., 72, died November 16, 2012 at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill, NC.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 8, 2012 in the Goldie Hargett Memorial Chapel, 905 East Market Street, Greensboro.
Paul is survived by six children: Devetta, Wanda, Paulette, Barbara, Paul Melvin, II and Eric; 12 grandchildren; brothers, George W. (Pamela), Josephus (Dorothy), and Thomas A.; and sister, Emma L.
He was loved by God, who welcomed him into His royal family, even as he found himself in the "valley of death". The angels of the Lord encamped round about him and ushered him safely home.
He was loved by his family and everyone that he came in contact with. His smile was contagious!
Paul will be missed by his family and friends. Yes, he's gone, but he will never be forgotten!
