Paul Carlton Dunlap, Jr., 44, was born January 30, 1977 in Wilmington, NC to the late Paul Dunlap, Sr. and Carolyn Dunlap. He passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 in Athens, TX.

Paul went to school in the Florida School System.

He was a handy man that loved to work.  He was an electrician for Express Staffing for many years.

Paul was an outdoor man that loved motorcycles, Nascar Racing, and fishing.  He was very proud of his heritage, Cherokee Indian.  He was also a very lovable person that loved to eat.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Dunlap.

His leaves to cherish precious memories daughters, Khristan Belk (Cody) and Journey Dunlap; son, Joydan Dunlap; grandchildren, David, Zoie, Oakley Belk; sisters, Claudia Hemric, Paula Dunlap, and Carrie Dunlap; brother, Timmie Dunlap; nieces, Nicole Ollison, Tina Hemric; Melissa Hemric; and Jenny Hemric; nephews, David Ollison, Daniel Ollison, Brandon Dunlap, Justin Doorlack, Chris Hemric, and Josh Hemric; girlfriend, Christy; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A public viewing will be held on Monday, July 12 at the Goldie Hargett Memorial Chapel, 905 E. Market Street, Greensboro from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm.  A homegoing celebration will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at the Goldie Hargett Memorial Chapel.  Visitation with the family begins at 12:30 pm followed by the service at 1:00 pm
