Obituary
Oneal Miller, daughter of John H. and Suretha McNeill, was born October 29, 1934 in Scotland County, North Carolina. She passed on to be with our Lord on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.
After graduating from the Scotland County Public School System, Oneal moved to Greensboro, NC where she attended Greensboro Technical Community College with an emphasis on early childhood development. She worked at Woolworth's cafeteria preparing vegetables, she was also employed at Moses Cone Hospital preparing formula for babies, before embarking upon a long career in the daycare industry where she was employed for several years with Metropolitan's daycare services. Ms. Miller had a great love for children.
Oneal Miller was preceded in death by her former husband, Norris Miller and her son, Craig Miller. She is survived by her sons, Reginald (Shawn) Miller of Kansas City, MO and Kelvin (Schel) Miller of Greensboro, NC; sister, Katherine Hall of Greensboro, NC; five grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Reid Memorial CME Church at 6:00 pm.
