Obituary
GREENSBORO - Mr. Noscoe Wright, 73, died February 27, 2011.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 1:00 PM at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Family visitation will begin at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow in Maplewood.
When I think of the word unique, I immediately think of my husband Noscoe. He was born on August 13, 1937 in Greensboro, NC to Charlie and Marie Wright. The number 13 was always considered unlucky, but since Noscoe was born on that day, it became the symbol of our love. We became 1 on July 9, 1960 and between God, Noscoe and I, we became 3. Noscoe graduated from James B. Dudley in 1956. That was the year I met my "Wright" in shining armor. He retired from Dow Corning in 1998. We were blessed with three sons; Darrick (Susan) of Puyallup,WA; Damon of Bklyn, NY and David (Tina) Greensboro, NC.
God added to our joy with three grandchildren; Tinity, "Achey" and Darien who is deceased.
He is survived by his brother, Charles and sister Jeanette, both of Greensboro, a host of nieces, nephews and friends galore!! Thank you Nosoce for making me your bride for 50 years, seven months, two weeks and four days. You were the perfect man; perfect for me!!! Your Bride, Shirley
