Obituary
GREENSBORO —Mrs. Mattie L. Moore departed this life Friday, January 21, 2011 at Moses Cone Hospital, age 77.
Funeral service will be 12 noon, Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church, 3701 Heath St., Greensboro. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. until 12 noon at the church, and at other times the home, 1200 Bilbro St. Interment will follow in Westminister Gardens.
Survivors include daughters, Imogene Moore, Brenda Moore, Elaine Porter (Keith), and Angela Moore; son, David Moore (Sonie); stepson, Larry Jones (Regina); 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; special friend, Mary Gant; brothers, William Massey (Rae) of St. Albans, NY, Preston Eveleigh (Lottie) of Heath Springs, SC; sister, Catherine Cunningham of St. Albans, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
