GREENSBORO — Mrs. Mary Alice Miller Minor "Puddin", 62, daughter of the late Paul and Louise Miller, passed away peacefully with her family surrounding her with love on Christmas Eve morning.

Mary was a faithful member of Collins Grove United Methodist Church.

Mary was the matriarch of the Miller family. She was employed at Guilford College, where she retired in 2008 with 30+ years of service.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Minor; mother and father, Paul and Louse Miller; godson, Jermaine Moore; brothers, Steve and Isaiah Miller; sisters, Clementine Jones and Geraldine Moore.

This angel leaves to cherish her memories, sons, Patrick and Damian Minor; goddaughter, Mikalah Hall; special niece, Roxann Moore; brothers, Rev. Calvin (Frances) Miller, James Miller, Paul (Rosa) Miller, Ronnie Miller, Bobby Miller, all of Greensboro, Franklin (Peggy) Miller of Summerfield; sisters, Katie Miller, Rosemary Alston, Martha Miller; and a host of relatives, nieces, nephews; a loving mother-in-law, Sally Minor, all of Greensboro; special friends, Miranda Bungee and Donald and Britta McNemar.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at Collins Grove United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., prior to the funeral service.
