Marshall C. Kirkpatrick "Kirk", born in Greensboro, NC to the late Norman and Mary Elizabeth Kirkpatrick on May 6, 1945.

Kirk was a loyal and dedicated employee of Hargett Funeral Services of Greensboro, NC and Hargett and Bryant Funeral Services of Burlington, NC for many years. He was known for his unwavering work ethic, compassionate spirit, and commitment to serving families during their times on need. His kindness and dedication earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and the many people whose lives he touched. 

Kirk was  preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Mary Elizabeth Kirkpatrick and his first wife, Linda Isley.

He leaves to cherish his memory: five children, four sons and one daughter, Norman "Tot" Kirkpatrick , Marshall "Glen" Kirkpatrick (Angie), Kimberly B. Kirkpatrick (Thomas), Charles "Chuck" Kirkpatrick (Tonia), and Daniel Kirkpatrick; he is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and joy; sister, Eveleen K. Logan, niece, Stephanie Winslow (Archie); nephew, Louis C. Kirkpatrick (Denise); special friend, Alma Marie Stanfield; and a host of other relatives and friends who will forever remember his kindness, generosity and gentle spirit.

Kirk's legacy of hard work, compassion and devotion to his family and community will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

A public viewing  is 9:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2026 in Hargett Funeral Service, 905 East Market Street, Greensboro, NC. Family will be present 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
