Marigean Brodax Neal age 80 passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at her home. She was born Monday, February 26, 1940, in Florence, South Carolina to the late Coleman and Bessie Brodnax.

She worked for Unifi Inc. as a machine operator for over 30 years and retired. She loved displaying ways to improve production and overcoming obstacles.

Marigean truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; visiting nursing homes, chatting with family and friends, snacking and spending time with her grandchildren. Marigean had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. Whether it be through songs of praise and worship or the word of God. She always had a listening ear and a word of the Lord.

in addition to her parents, she is predeceased by daughter, Flossie.

She is survived by her children; Gail, Alfonzo, Gregory,  Timothy, and Camilla; two siblings, Hubert and Johnnie Broadnax, 18 grandchildren, 22 great grandkids, 7 great great grandkids and many nieces and nephews. Honorable mention to her friend of 30+ years, Beth & Kevin Depopas and their family.

Public viewing of Ms. Neal is 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm Thursday, January 28, 2021 in Hargett Funeral Service, 905 East Market Street,  Greensboro, NC.  The family will have a private graveside service 3:00 Friday, January 29, 2021 at Lakeview Memorial Park 3600 N. O'Henry Blvd Greensboro, NC
