GREENSBORO — Mrs. Lucinda S. Hood, born August 23, 1921, was scooped up by the flying angels on January 1, 2011, ready to take her on to Glory. When she arrived in Heaven the door was opened wide to receive her.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Trinity A.M.E. Zion Church, 631 E. Florida Street, Greensboro. Visitation will start at 12:30 p.m. with the service starting at 1 p.m.
She leaves beautiful memories to son Claude N. Hood, Jr. (Beverly), Raleigh, NC and daughter, Cheryl L. Hood, Greensboro.
