Mr. Loren Donnell was born in Greensboro, NC on January 28, 1938 to the late Irving and Priscilla Donnell.

Loren retired from J.P. Stevens (Delta Woodside Industries) after 35 plus years of service. Loren was a devoted father and lifelong member of New Goshen United Methodist Church where he was part of the United Methodist Men. Loren enjoyed farming, baseball, cooking, bowling and spending time with his family.

Loren is preceded in death by his late wife, Linda J. Foxx Donnell; daughter, Monnetta L. Donnell; brother, Wilton A. Donnell Sr., and great grandchild, My'Kah S. Whitaker.

He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany N. Donnell (Journee S. Rouse) ; his only grandchild, Talaya A. Greenwood (A'mor J. Jackson and K'haire L. Greenwood); brothers, Ervin Donnell Jr., Lorenzo Donnell (Jackie), and Ulysses Donnell (Brenda); sisters, Mary Kimber, Brinda Rogers (McCoy), Lenora Clapp, Patricia Clark; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A homegoing celebration will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019 at new Goshen United Methodist Church, 3700 Randleman Road, Greensboro at 12:00 pm.  A public visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the Goldie Hargett Memorial Chapel, 905 E. Market Street, Greensboro from 12:00 pm - 6:30 pm.
