Linda Isley Rich was called home on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Linda was born the 7th of 9 children to the late William and Octola Isley on November 15, 1949 in Guilford County, NC. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Linda aka "Granny" attended Greensboro Public Schools, Mt. Zion and James B. Dudley. She worked in the healthcare industry for many years and eventually retired from Moses Cone Hospital. She was considered a hard worker and a good friend to many at Moses Cone Hospital.
Granny will truly be missed. She loved and was loved by many. She opened her heart and home to many over the years.
Linda leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband, Wayne of 40 years; daughter, Kim (Thomas); sons, Norman "Tot", Glenn (Angie), & Chuck (Tonya); Godson, Terrell "Mickey" (Emily); stepchildren, Rodney, Chris & Rosalind; sisters, Carolyn, Jackie, Deborah, & Lucille (Jake); 17 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and a host of many other relatives and friends.
A homegoing celebration will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the Goldie Hargett Memorial Chapel, 905 E. Market Street, Greensboro. Visitation with the family begins at 1:30 pm followed by the service at 2:00 pm.
