Linda Faye Enoch Donnell passed away peacefully on May 9, 2015 at Wesley Long Hospital. She was born February 20, 1951 to the late Odell and Elsie Enoch. Linda received her education from Guilford County Schools, graduating from Ben L. Smith High School. She worked in the textile industry in Greensboro. Linda Donnell left Greensboro and moved to New York City, where she resided for over twenty years. Linda then returned to Greensboro to be near her family. She was an ardent lover of plants and animals.
Linda is survived by two sons, Tyrone (Kim) McMillian of Waldorf, Maryland and Tony (Debra) McMillian of Greensboro; siblings, Lillie Mae Hagood, Larry (Hattie) Enoch, and Louvenia Enoch; grandchildren, Tyra, Bria, Asa, and Madison McMillian. She is also survived by her longtime caregiver, Anne Matthews, her beloved Shorty, along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial celebration will be held Wednesday, May 13 at the Goldie Hargett Memorial Chapel, 905 East Market Street, Greensboro, at 12:30 p.m.
