Today we celebrate Lileatha "Lita" Nettles Bain's homegoing.  Lita was 32 years young.  In West Philadelphia born and raised, on the playground is where Lita spent most of her days.  At 26 Lita relocated from West Philadelphia to Fayetteville, NC, where family members awaited her.

Lita leaves behind two beautiful, well-mannered daughters, Kalita age 15 and Layla age 10; mother, Mary; father, Trevor; three sisters, Shelly, Khasha, and Kiyanna; four brothers, Arkim, Arnold, Jason, and Wali; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Lita was a beautiful, intelligent, independent, well rounded woman.  She was thrify with a dollar but always balling with some change.  She was a positive, uplifting woman who motivates her family and love ones with laughter and wisdom.  One of her daily affirmations was "there is nothing stronger than the power of a praying woman."  This is what she lived by, and this is why God called her home.  Lita is a child of God and when He is ready, He will remove the spirit from the flesh to be with Him, but LONG LIVE LILEATHA!

A public viewing will be held Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Hargett Funeral Service, Inc., 905 E. Market Street, Greensboro from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.  A homegoing celebration will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 at the Goldie Hargett Memorial Chapel, Greensboro at 12:00 pm.
