Obituary
GREENSBORO — Lessie Powell, 86, known to many as "Monky B," peacefully went to the Lord on Thursday, August 4, 2011.
She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter Julia Donnell (Charles); one brother Theodore Jarvis; grandchildren Charles Donnell, Jr. and Pamelia Surgeon (Herb); great-grandchildren, Charles Donnell II, Justin and Jordan Surgeon, and Christopher Donnell.
The family will meet Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at the Fruit of the Spirit Ministry, 1401 Eugene St. Greensboro.
Family hour at 1 p.m. and funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Proximity Mill Cemetery.
