The homegoing celebration for Mrs. Leecy Harrison will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 12 PM at Bridge of Hope Church (4104 Short Farm Road, Greensboro, NC 27406). Family visitation will begin at 11:20 AM. Interment will follow the service at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Please see her full obituary below.

Leecy Mae Green Harrison, known as Mother Harrison transitioned to Glory on March 25, 2018 at 7:15pm. She was born on December 4, 1931 to the loving late Roy and Ida Morrison Greene in Richmond County, NC.
Mother Harrison served God, her family, and her community. She worked as a Customer Service Representative for Torch, Inc and provided domestic services for families. Mother Harrison was educated in Richmond County and Guilford Technical Community College.
Mother Harrison, a loving mother, mother-in law, sister, and grandmother, was a dedicated member to the Church of God of Prophecy for decades. She held many roles such as church secretary, treasurer, Sunday school teacher, prayer band leader, and Mother of the church and has received much recognition for her services. She was involved in her community and participated in Annual Christmas Bells concerts.
Mother Harrison has joined special angels including the late Carrie Rosa Robinson (sister), George Timothy Greene, Sr. (son), Lucille Isley (daughter), Calvin Harrison (son), and Allen Johnson (husband to Ida). She leaves to cherish her memories and carry her legacy, her children: Rosiland Greene (wife to George), James (Alice) Hairston, Jessie (Patti) Harrison, Leon (Linda) Hairston, Jerome (Linda) Harrison, and Ida Johnson of Greensboro, NC. Cherishing precious memories from childhood to present are her surviving sisters: Bessie DeBerry, Martha Watlington, and Queenie Greene. Basking in her pleasant memories are a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
