Laurie Renee Martin DeBerry age 58 of Browns Summit departed this life on August 12, 2023.  Her celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at St. Thomas Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, 633 NC Hwy 150 W, Greensboro. The family visitation will begin at 1:30 PM and the funeral service begins at 2:30 PM.

She is a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University and was employed with Prince George Public School System as an educator at Francis Scott Key Elementary School, Capitol Heights, MD.

She is survived by her children, Chris and Cameron DeBerry, siblings, Sharon Yancey and Norman Martin, two grandchildren and other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Thomas Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church in her memory.
