IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Laura Annette
Kelliehan
March 10, 1957 – April 19, 2019
Laura Annette Kelliehan was 62 years old and lived in Greensboro, NC. Laura departed this life on Friday, April 19, 2019, in her home of natural causes.
Laura Annette Kelliehan was born to Louise Rawlings and the late Leon Williams on March 10, 1957, in New York City where she grew up. Laura graduated from John F. Kennedy High school and went on to Bronx Community College where she majored in Psychology. Laura had many jobs in her younger years to include: being a welder, working with young kids with disabilities, and working at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY. She genuinely loved being with and helping people when she could. She joined The New York City Church of Christ located in the Bronx and was baptized in Dec 2011. Laura moved to Siler City, North Carolina on July 3, 2012. She then moved to Greensboro in 2013 to be closer to her church (Piedmont Triad Church) and to the members. She lived in Greensboro until her passing.
Laura had a very big heart and truly loved helping others. She would give you her last if she truly knew it would help you, even though she was on a fixed income. She would always say, "God's got me no matter what." Laura believed in God and would let everyone know it. She would listen to anyone who wanted to talk with her. She would be in Walmart shopping and would strike a conversation up with anyone. Next thing you know, you are in the middle of the aisle with her praying. She never stopped doing the work of the lord. She loved talking with people and would remember you the next time you crossed her path.
Laura is survived by her mother; Louise Rawlings, her brother ;John Kelliehan and his wife; Tammy Kelliehan, her sister; Sharmyn Kelliehan, one brother; Darrell Kelliehan and one daughter; Jasmine Laura Smith-Andrews and her husband; John Andrews, one grandchild; Amir Khaliq Mason, nieces; Lyniese Pellecier, Mayah Gaddy, Mikhayla Kelliehan, and a host of family and friends.
