Kenneth Jamel Scales, 30, of 6 Chadbury Court, Greensboro, NC died Thursday, November 20, 2014, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. He was born December 2, 1983 in Greensboro, NC. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Surviving are his parents, Michelle (mother) and Melvin Turner and Kenneth E. Scales (father); brother, Derrick; nephews, Bryce and Jeremiah; girlfriend, Jennifer Jones and children; godmother, Gina Goins; and a host of uncles, aunts, relatives, and friends. The funeral services will be conducted at Mount Zion Baptist Church , 1301 Alamance Church Rd., Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
