Obituary
Kenneth LeeVern Evans aka "Bear" passed away on May 25, 2017 at Cone Health Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. Kenneth was born on January 22, 1955 to Eugene and Helen Evans of Guilford County.
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Cathy, and four brothers – Garry "Shag", Robert, Timothy, and Charles.
He leaves behind loving wife, Elaine; son, Jason (Vrtreena); sisters, Louise Chambers and Barbara Kelly (Johnny)' nephew, Keith Evans (Carol); and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
The memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC. Visitation will be from 3:30 pm - 4:00 pm. The family requests that in lieu of flowers please mail donations to: Cone Health Heart Failure Fund, c/o Dee Talley, 301 E Wendover Ave, Wendover Medical Center, Suite 411, Greensboro, NC 27401, (336) 832-3220.
