It is with great sadness that the family of Julie Lekwuwa announce her sudden passing. Julie went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 25th, 2023 at the age of 63.

Julie was an educator and a humanitarian. Her faith was strong and shown throughout her life. She was a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God and a devoted member of the Wailing Women North Carolina. She was an incredible, strong, and amazing woman and touched the lives of many. We were so blessed she was in our lives and she will live forever in our hearts.

Julie is survived by her daughter Ure Anya and her husband Chidi Anya, daughter Nwanna Ochu and husband Daniel Ochu, son Isaac Lekwuwa. She is also survived by three grandchildren, John Anya, Oby Anya and Junnie Anya, many siblings, relatives,  friends and well wishers.

Date of her homegoing celebration is to be announced.
