Obituary
Juanita was born on April 20, 1925 in Montgomery County to the late Elias and Rilla Baldwin Ewing.
She received her education in the Montgomery County School System and graduated from Peabody High School in Troy, NC. She also graduated from Kaw Area Vocational School of Nursing in Topeka, KS.
At an early age, Juanita joined Belford Baptist Church in Jackson Spring, NC and in 1977 she joined New Jerusalem Cathedral where she served as President of the Nurses Guild and Deaconess.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Andrew Raleigh of 54 years, three sisters, and four brothers.
She leaves to fondly cherish her beautiful memories: daughter, Teresa R. Crouch of the home; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren, one brother-in-law, Jim Capel of Candor, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at New Jerusalem Cathedral, 1822 Sharpe Rd. Greensboro. Visitation with the family begins at 11:30 am followed by the service at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.
