With humble acceptance of God's will, we announce the passing of Joshua Michael Hagan-Hughes on July 10, 2023.

Joshua was born on June 27, 1993, in Washington, PA. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at an early age. He graduated from Northern Guilford High School and went on to attend the University of North Carolina at Greensboro receiving a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition. He continued his higher education at Arrhythmia Technologies Institute in Greenville, SC and worked as a Cardiac Device Technician at Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia in Austin, TX.  He recently moved back to NC to work at Asheville Cardiology Associates.

Despite his lifelong battle with Sickle Cell Disease, Joshua loved life to the fullest. With his contagious smile and positive attitude, he had an uncanny ability to touch anyone he encountered in a profound way.

Joshua enjoyed dancing, art, music, Anime, fantasy football and everything Marvel. On any given Sunday, you could catch him eating delicious home cooked meals with his Grandma Ernice or debating Steelers/Eagles with his Pap Pap Joe.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents Timothy and Melissa, his brother Jeremy and his sister Isabella and his second family, Aunt Teresa, Uncle John, and his closest and most beloved cousins, Sydnee and London. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his entire extended family, a large group of friends, and all who knew him.
