Obituary
Joe Henry Scott, 77, of Greensboro, North Carolina was the son of the late Maggie and Leonard Scott. He was born on April 19, 1938 in Forsyth County, NC. He transitioned from life December 18, 2015.
On June 14, 1964 he married Cozella Martin. Out of this union three children were born Joey Tyrone, Antoine Nicholas, and Sabrina Nicole.
Joe Scott is preceded in death by his wife, Cozella; brother, Leonard Scott, Jr.(deceased Rosetta Scott); sister, Angie Fox and sister, Maggie West.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Joey Tyrone, Antoine Nicholas (Beverly), and Sabrina Nicole; 8 grandchildren, Justin, Jared, Autumn, Miracle, Nikya, Dacia, Angela, Kaneesha; two sisters, Pearl Atkinson (Howard) and Eula Mae Clark (Percy); one brother, Harrison Scoot (deceased, Frances); and a host of other relatives and friends.
A homegoing celebration will be held at 1:00 on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Reynolds Chapel Baptist Church, 327 Hibler Rd., Greensboro. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
