Jessie Street Herbin, 86, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026. 

A public viewing will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Hargett Funeral Service, Inc., 905 E. Market Street, Greensboro from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.  

A homegoing celebration will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2026 at New Jerusalem Cathedral, 1822 Sharpe Road, Greensboro; visitation with the family begins at 2:30 pm followed by the service at 3:00 pm.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park on Monday, August 3 ast 11:00 am.
