On September 4,2021, Jeanne Dionne Smith was called home to begin her eternal life. she was born july 24, 1975, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. jeanne was the daughter of Brenda Manuel Smith and John Thomas Lewis, Sr. During her formative years, she was educated in the Guilford County school system (Greensboro NC). Where she attended Ben L . Smith High School and was adored by her classmates an teachers alike.

Jeanne worked as a customer service manager at BestBuy for 10 years, before transitioning to collections representative for Citi Cards for 15 years, At her passing, Jeanne was excelling as a Billing and Collections Specialist for the American water company. in her free time, she enjoyed hanging out with her family and friends, laughing, cooking, trying her hand at new desserts, watching horror movies, singing loudly to Mary J Blige and Mariah Cary and is known of course, for her love of all things Mickey Mouse. Jeanne loved hard, lived loudly, and unapologetically. The cavernous void she leaves behind in the hearts and minds of all who loved and knew her, will never be replaced.

Left to cherish precious memories are her mother, Brenda Manuel Smith of Greensboro, NC, her father John Thomas Lewis, Sr. (josette) of Philadelphia, PA; sisters keena core of Philadelphia, PA, Dawn Smith, of Greensboro, NC, karmia Williams of Philadelphia, PA, Kathleen Foreman of Philadelphia, PA, and Ashley smith of Greensboro, NC; brothers john Thomas Lewis jr. of Greensboro, NC, and Kevin Henderson of Philadelphia

1. jeanne was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents (Verlyn Davis and Lawrence Oliver Davis Sr.) of Greensboro, NC, her paternal grandparent (Beverly Lewis) of Philadelphia, PA, uncles Charlton Manuel and Kevin Smith; and her fur babies Cain and Chance.

A public viewing will be Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm in Hargett Funeral Service, Inc., 905 E. Market Street, Greensboro.

A graveside service will be Monday, September 13, 2021 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3901 Forest Lawn Drive, Greensboro at 10:00 am. Livestreaming
