Obituary

James was born August 31, 1936 in Greensboro, NC to the late Paul and Louise Miller. He attended Laughlin High School in Summerfield, NC. During his earthly journey "Wiggie" mastered a variety of things. He was a true example of what a man should be. He loved his family and worked hard, retiring from Worth Chemicals now Brenntag W.E. with more than 20 years of dedication. James was a loving man of GOD. His leadership as a man is an example that we all can grasp hold of and build upon. His dedication to God and family was shown through his many endeavors. He showed the love of GOD in ALL that he did! He was a loving son, husband, father, uncle, and friend.

James spent his life "Staying under the blood of Jesus." He showed the value of Christianity and community. He served the Collins Grove- Guilford College area with a love that is a testament example for others for today and evermore. There was never a time that anyone called on James that he was not there for them. If he did not have the means, trust he found it! James took the time to make everyone he knew feel special. He always had some spiritual or life advice, a song, or some type of wittiness to help others make it through their troubles. His love for his family was shown through how he treated them. What he did for one, he did for all. His nieces and nephews can say they received the same love, understanding, and teachings as Lamonte and Josh with no exception. James' servitude of Christ is reflected through the lives he impacted through his years of service to Collins Groves' Mass Choir, Usher Board, Trustee, UM Men, Senior Ministry, and Van Ministries which he served with agape love. James "Wiggie" Miller was our diamond in the rough!

James is preceded in death by his wife, Ella Mae Dearmon Miller; parents, Paul and Louise Miller; Goddaughter, Barbra Ann Dearmon; brothers, Steve McNeil and Isaiah Miller; sisters, Clementine Jones, Geraldine Moore, and Mary Minor; brother-in-law, James Dearmon; sister-in-laws, Daisy Miller, Ethel Carter and Cassie Hagler.

Calvin (Francis), Franklin (Peggy), Paul, Jr. (Rosa), Ronnie (Katherine), Bobby Miller; sisters, Katie Miller, Martha Miller, Rosemary Alston and one big army of nieces and nephews willing to follow his example.
