Obituary
Greensboro - Mr. James Wilbert Michael, 82, died Thursday February 3, 2011. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday February 8, 2011 at Shiloh Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
J.W., as he was known, was a lifetime member of Shiloh Baptist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a retired employee of P. Lorillard, Sears Roebuck Co. and the Greensboro Coliseum. Among his many survivors is his loving wife of 56 years, Cornelia.
Visitation will be 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service.
