Mrs. Helen McMurray Smith peacefully passed away on August 4, 2023 at Shannon Gray Recovery Center in Jamestown, where she received loving care from their staff. She will be remembered lovingly by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and a host of special friends. Public viewing of Mrs. Smith is 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Saturday the 12th in Hargett Funeral Service. Her life will be celebrated on Sunday, August 13th at Goldie Hargett Memorial Chapel at 905 East Market Street in Greensboro, NC. The visitation will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by the Celebration of Life Service at 12:30 PM. The interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park 3600 N.
