Hattie Gary Galloway was born December 13, 1928. She transitioned from this world to be with the Lord on April 16, 2018.

She received her early education in Guilford County Schools. Hattie attended and graduated from the Lutheran Christian School.

Hattie married Wallace L. Galloway, Sr. From this union, four children, Marie, Wallace Jr., Cletus and Carlton, were born.

Hattie was a working wife and devoted mother. During her lifetime, she had various jobs.

Her spiritual growth was developed at the Grace Lutheran Church. She later attended St. Phillips A.M.E. Zion Church. The last 27 years, she was an active member of Greater Christian Fellowship Church, under the leadership of Bishop Eric R. Lamb.

Hattie was a member of the Pastor's Aide, serving as treasurer for many years. Later she joined the Senior Praise Dance Ministry which she enjoyed thoroughly. It was one of her fondest memories. December 2014, she was honored as one of the Seniors of the church, where she served diligently. Hattie was a faithful member of her church and to her Pastor until her health declined.

Hattie was preceded in death by her parents, Mossie Gary and Erwin Goolsby, three sisters, Mozzell, Lucille and Rosalee, two brothers, Lonnie and Harry.

Cherishing her memories are: children, Marie (Wayne), Wallace (Naomi), Cletus (Darryl), Carlton (Tonya); grandchildren, Mondaria (Jamar), Herman (Kim), Wallis- Leigh, Daraius (Kelly) and Jeremy; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Kennedi, Gabrielle, Zavion, Adrian, Graison, Aaron and Michael; special friends, Katie Davis, The Williams Family and a host of cousins.
