Obituary
Mrs. Evelyn Ledwell Morehead passed away Friday, September 3, 2010 at Beacon Place after a brief illness.
Mrs. Morehead retired from Guilford County Schools Systems and was well known within the triad and surrounding communities.
The funeral service will be 12 noon Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at New Goshen United Methodist Church, 3300 Randleman Road, Greensboro, NC. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Wilson and James Headen and Edison and Floyd Ledwell; two sisters, Bernice Clapp and Catherine Enoch and a loving son, Albert "Rabbit" Mark.
Surviving are her daughter, Alice M. Brooks (David), son, Roy Mark (Gilda); 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 7, 2010 7 until 8:30 p.m. at New Goshen United Methodist Church.
