Obituary
GREENSBORO — Ella M. Bailey passed away peacefully on December 2, 2010 at Wesley Long Hospital surrounded by family. She was born January 9, 1950 to the late Essie M. Lawrence and Socrates Bailey.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Bass Chapel UMC. The family will receive friends at the church at 1:30 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in Bass Chapel Cemetery.
Ella is survived by George McAdoo; daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Rodney Wilds, Sr.; sons, Anthony and Adrian McAdoo; special niece, Cheryl (Lynn) Rankin; grandchildren, Taylor, Rodney, Jr. and Eli; brother, Maurice Bailey; sisters, Queen Bailey and Geraldine Bailey; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions can be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation or any breast cancer charity of your choice.
