GREENSBORO - Mrs. Elice Morgan Cooper passed away August 15, 2011. Born May 7, 1924 in Aiken, SC to Inez Evans and Mathew Morgan. Survived by son, Robert (Cindy) Cooper, daughters, Patricia Welch, Soundra Jones and Mattie Jones. She leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by son, Walter E. Cooper, brothers, Walter, William, Ollie and Robert Morgan, and sister, Edna Scott.
Visitation Friday 6 - 8 PM at Hargett Funeral Service, 905 E. Market Street, Greensboro. Service 1 PM Saturday at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 1310 Martin Luther King Blvd., Greensboro.
