Effie Cornelius Mebane, 91, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021.
A public viewing will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Hargett Funeral Service, Inc., 905 E. Market Street, Greensboro. A homegoing celebration will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 2700 W. Vandalia Road, Greensboro. Visitation with the family begins at 11:30 am followed by the service at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
