IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Damen Lashawn
Pinson
July 3, 1975 – January 24, 2021
With deepest sorrow, we announce that Damen Lashawn Pinson (Dee), 45, our most beloved son, brother, family member, and friend passed on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at his home. He was born July 3, 1975.
At an early age, he gave his life to Christ and joined Cedar Grove Baptist Church, where he was baptized, served, and participated in church activities.
Damen was a graduate of Ben L. Smith High School class of 1991. He then joined the United States Army and served well during his tour of duty as an 82 nd Airborne Specialist. Damen received his truck driving license. Inspired by his Uncle James who he thought was the coolest. He was an advocate for good health and wellness. Demonstrating that with his many businesses and extensive research of All-Natural Organic Health Products, Web Marketing, and Financial Literacy. He enjoyed video games and was a huge Carolina Panthers fan.
Those who knew Damen, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. Damen met no stranger knowing people from across the globe and loved everyone unconditionally.
He will be missed everyday by his father, Joseph; mother, Pearl; sisters, Shaunita and Lorraine (Ricky); niece, Brittany; nephew, Caleb; aunties, uncles, and a whole lot of cousins, and many, many great friends. The three amigos! Plus, one. That consisted of Damen, Eric, Jeremy, and most of the time, Latoya. As kids, they were inseparable.
Special thank you to Jeremy, no words can express our love for you. You and Dee were cousins, but more like brothers and roommates. Truly the best of friends. Thank you for your presence in his life.
As he would always say…
I sho preciate cha. Peace.
We will miss him dearly.
1 Corinthians 15:42-44
So, will it be with resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it raised in power; and it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.
