Cynthia Denise Fontaine was granted her angel wings on October 06, 2015, her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Cynthia had touched in so many small ways throughout her very memorable life. She was born Friday, April 27, 1962 in Winston Salem, NC.

Cynthia was an advocate for education and a better way of living. She attended Boston University, she also gained her Degree from ECPI, in Medical Assisting. She was employed as a Medical Assistant at High Point Community Clinic in High Point, NC.

Cynthia's life would seem short to many, but those who were touched understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her gentle smile and encouraging words brought so much joy to our family.

She gave us such courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life. She loved to shop and travel and she loved her church. She would spend hours doing what she loved, which was shopping and baking, she enjoyed Gospel Music and Fashion.

Cynthia, is survived by her loving husband, Frantz Fontaine and three daughters Melanie Fontaine Tate (Antony Tate) Dominique Fontaine, Talaisha Midy, Mother: Mary Bain (Erastus Bain) Sisters: Lisa Havner, Melissa Havner, Nicki Havner and Brother: Keyon Havner she also is survived by Grandmother: Elizabeth Havner, five nieces and three nephews she also left an abundance of Uncles, Aunts, Cousin and friends.

Cynthia, was a member and Minister of New Jerusalem Cathedral, Greensboro, NC. She was also an active member of the Deacons board, an active member in her community.

She is gone from us in the physical realm, but in spirit and in heart she is forever present and will always be with us and forever will be missed.

A homegoing celebration will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at New Jerusalem Cathedral, 1822 Sharpe Rd., Greensboro, NC. Visitation with the family begins at 1:30 pm followed by the service at 2:00 pm.
