Chris attended Northeast Guilford High School in McLeansville, his freshman and sophomore years and started his junior year at Eastern Randolph High School in Ramseur.
Chris was an amazing person who lit up any room he walked into. His warm personality allowed him to touch many lives in the short time he was on this earth. He didn't focus on material things as much as most teens. He worked hard to make A/B Honor Roll and was very skilled with computers. But most of all Chris put his heart and soul into playing football. Since playing football with the Guilford Steelers at a young age, he could be found working on his skills to become a better player. He continued his football career with the Northeast Rams, Greensboro Giants (Pop Warner) and recently finished the season with the Eastern Randolph Wildcats. His presence on the field and in our daily lives will be greatly missed. But his spirit will always remain in our hearts and minds forever more.
Proceeding in death were his mother, Carrie Renee Tripp, a cousin, Krystal Renee Tripp, and an uncle, Eric Keech.
He leaves behind: father, Dwayne Tripp and Fiancé Nadia Cupid; two sisters, Jasmine Tripp and Madison Tripp; three brothers, Patrick Tourville, Joshua Daniels and Teon Aaron; two nieces, Ja'Mayah King and Jasmine Moore, grandparents, Melvin Tripp (Ann), Gloria Tripp, Mari Windley (Andre), Gary Tourville (Donna), special friends Holly Jimenez, Lenny Cooper, Christy Peeler and Amanda Murray; A host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and many more family and friends.
