Caitlin Christina Heath was born May 28, 1997 in Greensboro, NC. She was the daughter of Carolyn Heath.  Caitlin's early years were nurtured at the home daycare of Mrs. Joyce Douglas.  Her formal education began at Murphy Traditional Academy and continued at Aycock (Swann) Middle School.  She was a 2015 graduate of James B. Dudley High School and continued her education at Guilford Technical Community College.

Caitlin was a life member of The Girl Scouts of America. Active from the Brownies through Ambassadors under the leadership of Mrs. Cecelia Shaw and Mrs. Cecile Spence, Caitlin enjoyed camping, traveling, fellowship, and activities with the Girl Scouts.  She earned the bronze and silver awards.  Her other activities included:  dancing with Harris-Minz School of Dance Arts, piano lessons under the direction of Mrs. Jean Jones, Dudley Ladies, Achievers, Teens Taking Action, NC A&T Saturday Academy, Junior Soccer League, and 2015 Participate in Delta Sigma Theta Jabberwock.

Caitlin's infectious smile and laughter could brighten any room. She was courageous, fearless, loyal, and loving. Caitlin attended Love and Faith Christian Fellowship and Mount Zion Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by grandmother, Mrs. Cora Christine Hyman Heath on August 7, 2014.

Caitlin leaves memories to her devoted mother, Carolyn Heath; aunt, Teresa Bryant (William); uncles, Milton Heath (Angela); Steve Heath (Dianne), Marvin Heath (Darlene); and James Collins. Caitlin shared her mother, home, and love with Destiny Stone, Zavier Watkins, and a host of cousins, friends, and other family members.

A free spirit…free at last!

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 25, 2018 at Love and Faith Christian Fellowship, 4344 Blackberry Road, Greensboro.  The family visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by the service at 11:30 a.m.  Burial will be at Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 N Ohenry Boulevard, Greensboro.  Hargett Funeral Service is assisting the family.
