GREENSBORO - Mrs. Bettie Smith Echols, 76, died January 14, 2013.
Funeral service is Saturday, January 19, 2013, 1:00 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church, 1210 South Elm-Eugene Street, Greensboro, Rev. Steven Allen, Jr, Pastor officiating. Family will receive friends 12:30 PM - 1:00 PM.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lenward Thomas Echols, Jr., in 2003.
Bettie is survived by: daughter, Shaun Echols-Davis (Calvin, Sr.); grandson, Courtney N. Davis; cousins, Wilbur (Margo) Garrett and Loreese Harris; Goddaughter, Gloria Green; close family friend, Ralph Carter; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
