In Loving Memory of Ms. Alice Irene Donnell

Ms. Alice Irene Donnell was born on June 8, 1920. She departed this world on Saturday December 19, 2020. She was one hundred years old. She was born to Rachel Lucille Donnell, the daughter of Martin and Meggie Donnell. Martin Donnell started the Donnell name and donated the land for the current Mt. Zion AME Church. Ms. Alice Irene Donnell is the granddaughter of Martin and Meggie Donnell.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Ann Crawford and grandson, Kenneth Crawford. Ms. Alice Irene Donnell resided on the original property owned by Martin Donnell until entering Heartland Nursing facility in 2019. She died in Heartland Nursing facility on Saturday evening December 19, 2020. She will be remembered as a loving mother and loving grandmother to her family.

My mother and I would like to give a special heartfelt thanks to all the people who visited and sent cards to our beloved mother and grandmother. We thank you and appreciate your kindness. It meant a great deal to my mom my grandmother and me. From our heart we thank you and God Bless.
