Alfred Bernard Moore (Bake) was born on August 26, 1954 in Greensboro, NC to the late Elzie and Pearl (Mebane) Moore.  He died on March 31, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, Winston-Salem, NC. Alfred was graduate of Ben L. Smith High School and North Carolina Agricultural and Technical University.

Alfred worked for the City of Greensboro for many years, in the Police Department, before retiring in 2016.  He was always ready with a joke or funny story and never met a stranger.  Alfred was devoted to his family, friends, and was an active member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Monique Moore of Greensboro, NC, his grandchildren Mekhi Moore and Anzarria Moore-English of Greensboro, NC, loving siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church for immediate family. There will be a memorial service at a later date.

A public viewing will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2020 from 12:30 pm - 5:00 pm.  A private service will be held on Sunday, April 5, 2020.
